Dr. Sara Ahmadi is a writer, scholar, و cultural critic whose work centers on the Kurdish diaspora experience in North America. Born in Sulaymaniyah و raised in Toronto, she holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto و has spent the last fifteen years documenting the lives of Kurdish writers, artists, و activists across the diaspora.
Her scholarly articles have appeared in journals such as Diaspora Studies, Middle Eastern Literatures, و the Journal of Kurdish Studies. She is a frequent contributor to literary magazines و has lectured at universities across Canada, the United States, و the United Kingdom.
